Who's Simon?

Well, um... Hard to describe, really. I've been addicted to computers from a very young age. Started programming in Basic way back on the C64, but it really got my attention as I got older. Today, I'm all over the place - sometimes doing low-level system programming, sometimes web and mobile. My prefered platform is the web, as this is the most technology neutral platform out there.

I also run a few sites like handicapguiden.dk, fediverset.dk and opensourceguiden.dk. I find great fun in trying to create these kinds of snapshots of all the information out there. Yes, you can certainly find everything in the big search engines - but nothing beats a curated list of information. When I'm not hammering away on my keyboard I watch scifi shows or read books. Mainly autobiographies about the computer industry.

Educationally, I hold an academy profession degree in Computer Science and is a trained graphic designer. Admittably, I suck at drawing, so I mainly stick to composition and layouting. But I find great joy in being able to wear different hats.
